So far in this course, our focus has been mostly on tasks that fall into the category of supervised learning. In this lesson, we'll introduce the concept of unsupervised learning within the field of machine learning and see how it contrasts against supervised learning.

As we previously discussed, supervised learning algorithms make use of labeled data when training a neural network. Unsupervised learning algorithms, on the other hand, use unlabeled data.
